This week I have actually succeeded in cutting down the use of one of my social media accounts.  I have been using my twitter much less, and checking it much less.  I still go on facebook regularly, probably too often.  I'm taking it one step at a time though.  If I continue to limit the use of my twitter, hopefully I will follow those actions with my facebook usage.  It is just so tempting to check both of these when I open my computer each day to start my homework.  If you have any ways of helping fight off this temptation please let me know!

  1. First off, at least you have started cutting down one of them which is a start. Eventually if you start getting used to not using Twitter as much, it shall switch over to Facebook as well. However, in the meanwhile, I would say that to help fight off temptations. I would only go on Facebook a couple times a day but during each of those visits, only stay on for like 10 minutes or less. Check what you have to and respond to what you want but do not just scroll down and read everyones statuses and start playing games for hours or for however long you play them if you even do. Then once down with them, log out of them so there is no temptation to check it while in the middle of homework.
